The Comparison Site

Just comparing stuff. That's all.

This site is mainly for me to compare movies or characters with similar visuals or plots. I am not trying to convince you but I generally favour one more than the other (unless I state otherwise). Please come back for more updates. You are also welcome to suggest new things for me to compare and I'll to get back to you as soon as possible.

Comparison- Snow White and the Huntsman (2012) vs Maleficent (2014) Part 1

The reason why these two movies are very similar is because they are based on classic princess stories (Snow White and Sleep Beauty, duh).
Both movies are similar visually and instead of the princesses, everyone (audience) turns out to like the evil protagonists. What makes them appealing (yeah yeah okay they might be a flop I’m not sure) is that that are both live action + fantasy animation + violence films.

Contrary to popular belief, Snow White and the Huntsman is not distributed by Disney.

1. Bones as fashion decorations (Ravena’s top and Maleficent’s ring).

2. Freaking crows.

3. Damsel and distress Princesses.

4. The Magical forest where the Princesses do the whole “E.T” touch.
